As minister I would like to welcome you to Rhos on Sea Methodist Church on the balmy North Wales Coast. Rhos is a picturesque small town between Colwyn Bay and Llandudno and is a very busy holiday spot all year round with many day trippers arriving to enjoy the local area which includes coffee shops, a lovely beach and small harbour, fishing trips, and local specialist retailers.

The Methodist Church is on Rhos Road just up from the centre of the town and the sea front and is a fellowship of around 200 people ranging in age from toddlers to those in the 2nd and even 3rd childhood`s. Rhos is very much an area that people to retire to so we have a number of members who are housebound or in nursing or residential homes in the area. The pastoral care from the church is excellent and regular visits are received from myself and a dedicated group of visitors.

We have an active Junior Church and enjoy monthly all-age services where the whole congregation, of all ages, worship together in a less formal atmosphere.

Our main service on a Sunday morning sees a congregation of between 80 and 120 with a monthly service of Holy Communion. Sunday evening worship follows a pattern including preaching services, meditative/contemplative worship, holy communion (including healing and wholeness) and discussions on moral/ethical/social issues.

The excellent suite of premises is very well used by groups from the community during the week and groups of Brownies and Girls` Brigade stay during the summer.
Maybe you have had contact with Rhos on Sea Methodist Church in the past through holidays or having moved away. It would be good to hear from you.

Thank you for looking at this page. May God bless you.
