St John`s Uniting Church is a prominent building on the main road through Colwyn Bay, and is recognisable by its spire. It was first built in the 19th Century and has been refurbished over the last five years. It is a grade 2 listed building.

The congregation comprises people from the former St John’s Methodist Church and the former Union Church (URC and Baptist) who, in 2006 formed an LEP. The congregation comprises people who have lived in the area for many years, and others who have moved into the area more recently, some to enjoy their retirement and others for work. All are drawn by the beautiful scenery and the convenient location.

The minister is Rev Malcolm Chester who also has responsibility for Rhos on Sea Methodist Church. The associate minister is Rev Kate Gartside who also has responsibility for Rhos on Sea URC and Old Colwyn URC.
